Abstract: legal translation has its unique points for legal language is a specialized language. Legal translation focuses mainly on its preciseness, for legal language is proposed to regulate the acts of human beings. So the important legal factors that may raise ambiguity about the relationship of liability and obligation may need the application of “information enrichment”. At the same time, for legal language means to regulate human acts, its translated version needs to be understood by readers. That’s why “brief wording ” principle applies to legal translation.
