This conference invites theoretical studies, case analysis, and relevant work-in-progress papers on the key issues in legal language and legal discourse, promotes research of, and welcomes participation from, researchers of different cultural and language backgrounds from different disciplines and across jurisdictions. All topics of forensic linguistics/language and law include but not limited to the following 10 strands:

· Interpretation and Analysis of Legal Documents
· Authorship/Speaker Identification
· Teaching of Language and Law, Legal Exchange and Cooperation
Call for papers
Abstracts and full papers will be sent to the Organizing Committee (xian2014lawconf@outlook.com). All accepted full papers (6 pages) will be included in the indexed (CPCI-SSH) Proceedings of LLD4. Selected peer-reviewed papers (5000-8000 words) will be invited for publication in 3 special issues in International Journal of Law, Language & Discourse, International Journal for the Semiotics of Law, and International Journal of Legal English.
