Previous publications: Zhang Shaomin, Analyzing the Court Debates of Lawyer Agents ad litem in Civil Cases from the Perspective of Rhetoric,Journal of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Sept. 2011, No.5 (ISSN 1672-0962) Zhang Shaomin, A Study of Non-lawyer Agents ad litem’s Courtroom Debate in Civil Cases from the Perspective of Information Development, Forward Position, June. 2011, No.12 (ISSN 1009-8267) Working Theory and Methodology: Based on Discourse Information Theory (DIT) and Discourse Information Analysis (DIA), the research aims at identifying consistent discourse information markers for the sake of authorship attribution of Chinese texts. Research Supports and Significance: Firstly, depending on DIT for main theoretical supports, and CLIPS (Corpus for the Legal Information Processing System) for corpus from which the data of the research is collected, the research is conducted on the basis of an established foundation in research. Secondly, in the present research, DIT can be applied directly in authorship attribution of Chinese data, which can dramatically improve the judiciary practice in China. Thus, the research is a necessary and promising exploration both theoretically and practically. |
